My review of recent projects

Hello bloggin' friends!  I have really missed you.  I have so much to tell that I don't know where to start!  I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand about a month ago and it was totally worth it.  My hand and fingers no longer hurt.  I still have a little weakness, but that will get better with time.  I plan to have my right hand done in a few weeks.  That may be a little more challenging since I am right handed.  Anyhow -- enough of that!  What have you all been working on?  Before my surgery,  I  sewed together a few things and  I wanted to share them.  First, my nephew had a birthday in August.  He loves minions (so do I!).  So, I decided to make him a minion lap blanket.  I think he likes it.  (Can you tell by the picture?)

I also made up a couple of outfits and dresses for Addi to wear for the fall.

And this past weekend, I sewed up a little Halloween outfit for my great niece.  She was so cute it in!

I also made her a backpack for her birthday. She loves to take her books when she visits her G Mom. (aka my sister!)

My niece had a Strawberry Shortcake 1st Birthday Party.  I attempted to make her tutu.  It was challenging and I learned some things....  NOTE TO SELF -- NEVER USE TULLE WITH GLITTER IN IT!   (My daughter made the shirt for her.)  She was adorable.

As you can see, I have been quite busy.  I know all of you are busy too.  I have been keeping up with your blogs and you really inspire me! I hope you have a great week and thanks for dropping by to see what I have been up to!
