Soda Pop and Peanuts Valentine

Valentines Day Treats

I saw these cute free valentine printables from Kelly over @ http://www.herecomesthesunblog.net/2014/01/valentine-free-printable.html.  I thought they were so adorable.  I paired the printable up with some bottled cokes and peanuts for a sweet and salty Valentine treat!  Hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day!

Butterfly Patchwork Valentine Pillows

Are you ready for Valentine's day?  These patchwork butterflies have been  sitting around in my stash waiting to be turned into something beautiful for quite awhile.  I pulled them out when I was  re-organizing and made up my mind to finally put them to some use! ( My first intentions were to make a quilt with them.. but that never worked out.)  So -- here they are.  All sewed up and ready for Valentine's Day!

Finished Craft Room/Bedroom reveal (Part II)

We have completed  my Craft/Bedroom make over!  I am really happy with the results.  I tried to be as cheap  economical as possible by purchasing the wall hangings on clearance at Hobby Lobby, recovering a headboard I already had with this pretty red material, and re-doing a small lamp that I already had around the house. (I will share the  lamp re-do   on another post sometime).  My daughter came home for the weekend from college and she loves it!  We had a little laugh because it occured to us that the headboard looks a little like the inside of Count Dracula's coffin.  Lol.    I wanted to share a few more photos so you could see a couple of other things I added to.  Thanks for dropping in!

I got this old tv cabinet from a dear friend (Thanks, Tammy!).  Tracy helped me to remove the tv and wires.  I spray painted it black and now it makes a great storage place for Hannah's luggage when she comes home.

I found this wall art at Dollar Tree.  Seriously... one dollar!

Here's is a close up of Dracula's Coffin the headboard and some pillows I made to match.

Last, but not least, I finally got me a bodice!  I love it.  It came from Hobby Lobby.  It was on sale for $48.00 and I used a gift card I received from my MIL for Christmas to help purchase it.  I have been wanting one forever!

Thanks for visiting me.  Leave a comment so I will know you were here!

"Stampin up'" Noble Deer card

Now that I have my scrap/sewing room in order; I am enjoying making a few things.  I put together  this deer card for my nephew's birthday  this weekend.  I love this stamp set so much.  It's called "Noble Deer" made by Stampin Up.  Someone once told me; always make two of every card you do.  It's just as easy to make two, since you have the materials already out.  I am going to try to do this and hopefully build up my card inventory.
Thanks for visiting.  See you again soon!
