Bicycle and Dump Truck Planters

Hello friends!  Happy Wednesday to you!  Have I ever told you  what wonderful, talented, amazingly crafty friends I have?   Well.. I have lots of them!  One of them is named Teena Sorrell.  She made the two flower planters pictured below.  She lives in the country and enjoys sewing, gardening and belly dancing.  Yes.. that's right.  Belly dancing. She is also VERY talented at costume designing.  But -- today we are going to talk about her planters.  She found this old bicycle on her property when they first built their home.  She  stored it up waiting on the right inspiration.  This past weekend -- she set to work and created this beautiful bicycle planter.  Don't you just love it?  She also salvaged one of her son's old dump trucks to use as another planter.  It is just so cute!  I don't have an old bike -- but --since I have not rode mine in over 3 years, perhaps I should get busy making better use of it!
