Pink and Black Prom Scrapbook

Good evening, friends.  I know that I shared a Prom Book with you a few nights ago, but I wanted to share another one tonight.  I made this book in 2010 for my oldest daughter's Senior Prom.  I love the pink/black combination.  The flowers stamped  on front are made from  a Stampin up set.  Hope you enjoy!

Prom Scrapbook

 

Hi friends!  Hope you are having a great week so far. I have been a little nostalgic lately while looking at some old scrapbooks.   I realized that Prom season is coming up soon! I have always loved seeing my girls all dressed up and excited about  Prom.  When my two oldest daughters would go to the  prom; I always  took tons of pictures.  As soon as they left the house, I would go get the pictures developed and make their scrapbook.  It kept me busy and I was usually up still working on it when they came home.  My youngest daughter has decided she is not going to prom this year.  I am disappointed and a little mad about it too.  I found out that my husband (who is not so fond of proms) has promised her a cash reward for opting out of going!  Can you believe that??  Anyhow, here is the scrapbook I made for my middle daughter last year.  Just wanted to share it with you.

 

 

I made this scrapbook from a file folder.  I loved the way the pages flipped down and also the pockets for storing more photos.  Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Candy Shoppe card

Ya Hoo!  The weekend is here!  Time to do some crafting.  Have I ever mentioned how much I love "Stampin Up" products?  This card is made from the Sweet Shop set. I am not usually a sticker fan; but I could not pass these up.  I made this for my middle daughter's birthday.  If you are interested in making one like this, I used  this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50gU4pDzof0.

An Easter Dogwood Cross

Carol, a sweet and beautiful friend of mine, made this cross. I don't think she would mind me sharing it with all you.   I thought it was so beautiful and perfect for Easter. I love the green color she chose and the dogwood blooms are wonderful. Didn't she do a great job?
