Turkey trouble -- help!

Last year was my first year for baking a turkey and I was very pleased with how it turned out!  However, I guess I did not keep the recipe and now I can't remember how I seasoned it.  I remember something about "being sure to lift the skin and baste under there to keep it moist."  And it was moist and quite tasty.  I just don't remember what seasoning I used!  So.. do you have a recipe for your Thanksgiving turkey?  If so, please share.  We are having special guests this year and I want the turkey to look attractive and taste delicious!  Thanks for any help you can give.

Just A Few of my Favorite Things..

Hello Friends!

Don't you have a few little decorations, a collection of some item,  or certain nick-nacks you just love?  I have several  things that I collect.  Depression glass, old wooden bowls, candle sticks and pitchers are some of my favorites.  I just love the many uses I find for them and they look so beautiful!  Luckily, the bowls and depression glass I own were all handed down from family -- so they have alot of sentimental value to me!  Just wanted to share a few pictures of how I display them.

Hello to everyone!  Hope all of you are doing well.  We have been so busy around the Crosson household.  We are doing several home improvement projects and Tracy and I have been working really hard.  It all started with a few tiles falling off the side of the tub and from there... good grief.  Anyhow, when we are all done, I will post some photos. The last few weeks have been  depressing for me.  It has been 2 years this week since my mom passed away.  I try to stay focused on the good memories, but this time of year just brings back all the memories of her last few weeks (which were not good).   When my mother was alive, she always knew when something was bothering me.  I tend to find a project and work on it with a vengance when something is on my mind.  My mom would come by the house and find me working like a mad man on some project or scrapbooking and she would say, "Okay...What's on your mind?"  Lol.  I guess I haven't changed much -- because for the last few days I have been sewing up owl pillows, stampin up some Christmas cards, making teacher's gifts and  putting a few wreaths together.   I really miss her.   So... here is what I put together tonight.  A burlap and lace wreath.. complete with a little bird  in a nest.... in memory of my mom.

"SnowFlakes Welcome" Snowman For Sale
